2020 Beyond Boundaries Recipient: Molly Sutton

Molly Sutton is a junior at Virginia Tech studying Environmental Science with a minor in Green Engineering. She has a special interest in aquatic ecology, and hopes to work in either a research position studying marine ecology or in a public outreach position for an environmental agency or non-profit. The Beyond Boundaries Scholarship has been incredibly impactful to Molly’s college experience in that it allowed her to attend Virginia Tech and gave her the ability to pursue her dream education. Beyond the education aspect, Virginia Tech has given her the chance to participate in a college equestrian program, explore the beauty of Southwest Virginia, and expand her horizons socially and mentally. Molly can’t express how thankful she is for this scholarship and all that it has allowed her to do, and she intends to make the most of it.
